Two-Way ACs
The most efficient way to cool (and heat!) your home. Quieter, safer, and more reliable than traditional one-way ACs and furnaces.
One-Way Air Conditioners and Furnaces stink
Out with the old, in with the new
For years, we've heated and cooled our homes with two separate devices. A one-way air conditioner to provide cooling, and a furnace to provide heating. But furnaces are unreliable, can introduce harmful gases like carbon monoxide into the home, and they make the air dirty to breathe! Plus, gas prices are highly volatile.
Two times as good
A better way
Two-way ACs provide both heating and cooling from one device, without the need for natural gas. They're a proven, reliable technology with millions of units installed around the world for decades. Installing one will increase your property value, too!
How do they work?
Moving heat, not creating it
Two-way ACs use heat pump technology to both heat and cool your home. A furnace generates heat by burning natural gas, which is typically only around 80% efficient. A two-way AC concentrates heat from outside air and moves it into your home. They can have efficiencies greater than 400%! This means you'll use less energy to get better comfort.
Will it work in my house?
2-Way ACs are for everyone
If your house already has ductwork, a new two-way AC system is a drop-in replacement for your existing furnace and one-way AC.If you don't have ducts (homes with wall furnaces, floor furnaces, radiators or floor heating), there are many ductless options to easily upgrade your system.

How do I get one?
Find a qualified HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) contractor, and tell them that you want a "Heat Pump". If they're trained in the latest technology, they'll know exactly what you're talking about. If you're in California, we'd suggest Vayu, an experienced installer of two-way ACs.
